Tokyo Records Corporation & Papa Legba Recordings have released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2011 documentary Bitter Seeds directed by Micha X. Peled. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frank Ilfman (Big Bad Wolves, Gunpowder Milkshake, A Mistake, Ghost Stories, The Operative, The Etruscan Smile). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s opening titles and end credits tracks below. Bitter Seeds explores the global fault lines of modern agriculture, from remote Indian villages grappling with genetically modified seeds to the powerful institutions that promote them.The movie premiered at the 2011 Telluride Film Festival and screened at numerous other film festival the following year. The documentary was also released later on DVD.
