Peer-Southern Productions has released a soundtrack album for the Finnish/Italian comedy 100 Litres of Gold (100 Litri di Birra). The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Biscarini (Hidden AwayThe Man Who Will Come, Lubo, The LambThe Vegetarian, There Will Come a Day). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. 100 Litres of Gold is written and directed by Teemu Nikki and stars Elina Knihtilä, Pirjo Lonka and Ville Tiihonen. The movie is set in a small Finnish village and follows two middle-aged sisters who promised to brew beer for a wedding, but after drinking their entire batch, they have to struggle with hangovers while trying to make more beer and save their reputations as the best sahti-brewers in the village. The comedy, which premiered at last year’s Rome Festival, just opened in Finnish theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic release.
