Playground Music has released a soundtrack album for the Polish drama Wet Monday (Lany poniedzialek). The album features the film’s original score composed by Erki Pärnoja. Also included is the original song Horizon by Pärnoja & Anna Kaneelina. Wet Monday is co-written and directed by Justyna Mytnik and stars Julia Polaczek, Nel Kaczmarek, Weronika Kozakowska, Maja Kleszcz and Jowita Budnik. The movie follows a 15-year-old teenager dealing with an unexpected trauma as she grapples with how to regain her lost faith in the future. The drama, which premiered at various film festival in 2024, was released in Poland in last December and just opened in French theaters last Wednesday. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
