Sweethaven Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama Exhibiting Forgiveness. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jherek Bischoff (Organ Trail). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 4 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Warner Records has previously released the original song Bricks co-written (with Bischoff) and performed by lead actress Andra Day as a digital single last fall. Exhibiting Forgiveness is written and directed by Titus Kaphar and also stars André Holland, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and John Earl Jelks. The movie follows an admired American painter whose path to success is derailed by an unexpected visit from his estranged father. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival, was released in U.S. theaters last October by Roadside Attractions and is now available on VOD.
