Mayitasol has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish drama 8 (aka 8CHO). The album features the film’s original music composed by Lucas Vidal (Fast & Furious 6, Elite, The Quiet Ones, Welcome to Eden, The Deliverance,  The Raven, Women in Blue, Palm Trees in the Snow, The Cold Light of Day). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. 8 is directed by Julio Medem and stars Ana Rujas, Javier Rey, Álvaro Morte, Loreto Mauleón, Tamar Novas, Carla Díaz, Mateo Medina, María Isasi, Oriol Riera, Asier Burguete, Kandido Uranga, Patxi Barco, Javier Morgade and Andoni Agirregomezkorta. The movie tells the love story between a man and a woman who were born on the same day (April 14, 1931) and whose lives intertwine during the following eight decades. The drama premiered at this year’s Malaga Film Festival and was released in Spanish theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic release.
