Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Woman in the Yard. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Top Gun: Maverick, His Dark Materials, The Wheel of Time). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the original end credits song Middle of This Storm co-written (with Balfe) and performed by Ayanna Witter-Johnson and the first score track below. The Woman in the Yard is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and stars Danielle Deadwyler, Okwui Okpokwasili, Russell Hornsby, Peyton Jackson and Estella Kahiha. The Blumhouse production follows a woman crippled by grief after losing her husband who now must care for their children, when – one day – a spectral woman shrouded entirely in black appears on their front lawn without explanation. The movie is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Universal Pictures.
