A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for the horror comedy Death of a Unicorn. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Romer (Luca, Station Eleven, Maniac, Superman & Lois, Beasts of No Nation, Beasts of the Southern Wild, The Good Doctor) & Giosuè Greco (Didi, Let the Right One In, Welcome to Wrexham, Nai Nai & Wài Pó). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 27. Death of a Unicorn is written and directed by Alex Scharfman and stars Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, Sunita Mani, Jessica Hynes, Anthony Carrigan and Richard E. Grant. The movie follows a father and daughter who accidentally kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where his boss seeks to exploit the miraculous curative properties of the creature. The comedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will be released in theaters nationwide this weekend by A24.
