Irish singer/songwriter David Keenan is making his narrative feature scoring debut on the upcoming British boxing drama Salvable. The film is directed by Björn Franklin & Johnny Marchetta and stars Toby Kebbell, Shia LaBeouf and James Cosmo. The movie follows a battered boxer past his prime who finds his dreams and his relationships on the ropes and falls back in with a dangerous crowd and has to take the biggest swing of his life to reclaim his hope and his family. Franklin also wrote the screenplay. Jamie Gamache & Connor O’Hara (Kindling) and Julien Loeffler & James Kermack (Knuckledust, Cold Meat) are producing the project. Salvable will be released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD on May 2 by Lionsgate.
