Air-Edel Records has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama 100 Preludi. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari (Italia – Fire and Ashes) & Lisa Gerrard (Gladiator, Whale Rider, Ali, The Insider, Jane Got a Gun, City of Dreams). Cellist Erica Piccotti is the featured soloist. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also check out the official music video for the track Nowhere after the jump. 100 Preludi is co-written and directed by Alessandra Pescetta and stars Piccotti, Giovanni Calcagno and Margherita Fortini. The movie follows a young cellist who sets extremely strict rules for composing 100 preludes to assert her genius, denied by an unscrupulous master. The drama premiered at various film festivals over the last year. No word yet on a domestic release date.
