Benjamin Speed (The Portable Door, 52 Tuesdays, Embrace, Make It Look Real) has released a soundtrack album for the Australian sci-fi thriller Monolith. The album features the composer’s original score from the film, as well as the original song Monos Lithos written by Speed & Leigh Marsh and is now available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. Monolith is directed by Matt Vesely and stars Lily Sullivan and (the voices of) Erik Thomson, Damon Herriman, Kate Box, Terence Crawford & Ling Cooper Tang. The movie revolves around a disgraced journalist trying to salvage her career who begins investigating a strange alien conspiracy theory. The thriller, which premiered at the 2022 Adelaide Film Festival and the 2023 SXSW Film Festival, opened in Australia in late 2023 and was released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD in early 2024 by Well Go USA Entertainment. The film is now also available on Blu-ray.
