Unkle Productions has released a soundtrack album for the French musical comedy In the Nguyen Kitchen (Dans la cuisine des Nguyen). The album features the film’s original score and songs composed by Clovis Schneider & Thuy-Nhân Dao and performed by cast members Clotilde Chevalier, Anh Tran Nghia, Gael Kamilindi & others. In the Nguyen Kitchen is written and directed by Stéphane Ly-Cuong and also stars Thomas Jolly. The movie follows a French-Vietnamese actress who dreams of becoming a successful musical star who is forced to move back in with her mother who prefers she pursues a more serious path. The comedy premiered at various film festivals last year and just opened in French theaters yesterday.
