CAM Sugar has released a soundtrack album for Italian war drama Battlefield (Campo di battaglia). The album features the film’s original music composed by Franco Piersanti (Me and You, Terraferma, Dry, Ordinary Happiness, The Caiman). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track below. Battlefield is directed by Gianni Amelio and stars Alessandro Borghi, Gabriel Montesi and Federica Rosellini. The movie  is set during World War I and revolves around two doctors who work in a Milanese military, where simulation and self-inflicted injuries are rife. The drama premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and was released in Italian theaters last September. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
