Composer Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids, Freaks & Geeks, Daddy’s Home, Piece by Piece, Funny People, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Bad Teacher) is reteaming with director Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Bros) on the upcoming comedy You’re Cordially Invited. The film is written and directed by Stoller and stars Will Ferrell, Reese Witherspoon, Geraldine Viswanathan, Jimmy Tatro, Meredith Hagner, Stony Blyden, Rory Scovel, Leanne Morgan, Ramona Young, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Jack McBrayer and Celia Weston. The movie follows two bridal parties whose weddings are accidentally booked on the same day at the same venue and are challenged with preserving their family’s special moment while making the most of the unanticipated tight quarters. Stoller, Witherspoon & Ferrell are also producing the project with Conor Welch (Goosebumps, Incoming), Lauren Neustadter (Where the Crawdads Sing, The Morning Show) and Jessica Elbaum (Hustlers, Booksmart). Andrews has previously collaborated with Stoller on the features The Five-Year Engagement, Neighbors, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and the TV shows Friends from College and Platonic, which will return for a second season. You’re Cordially Invited will premiere on January 30, 2025 exclusively on Prime Video.
