22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French animated TV series The Upside Down River (La rivière à l’envers). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Pablo Pico (Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds, Adama, Marona’s Fantastic Tale, Saving Sally). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Qjar) below. The Upside Down River is based on the children’s novel of the same title by Jean Claude Mourlevat and follows a girl searching for water drops from the Qjar river to heal her sacred bird and is joined by a shy boy she meets on her quest. The series produced by Dandeloo premiered in France earlier this month on Canal+.
