Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hacksaw Ridge, The Perfect Couple, Smallfoot, The Legend of Tarzan, Over the HedgeHotel Rwanda) has composed the original score for the new Peacock/Sky limited series Lockerbie: A Search for Truth. The show is developed by David Harrower based on the book The Lockerbie Bombing: A Father’s Search for Justice by Jim Swire & Peter Biddulph and stars Colin Firth, Catherine McCormack, Rosanna Adams, Jemma Carlton, Sam Troughton, Harry Redding, Mark Bonner, Ardalan Esmaili and Selwa Jghalef. The 5-part drama is based on the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 and chronicles the search for justice by Dr. Jim Swire and his wife Jane, who tragically lost their beloved daughter in the devastating event. Harrower is also executive producing the project with Carnival Films’ Gareth Neame & Nigel Marchant (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom), Sky Studios’ Sam Hoyle (The Day of the Jackal, Mary & George), lead director Otto Bathurst (Robin Hood, The Winter King), as well as Liz Trubridge (Belgravia), Jim Sheridan (In the Name of the Future, In America), Kirsten Sheridan (Phoenix Rising) and Oskar Slingerland. Lockerbie: A Search for Truth will premiere in the U.S. next Thursday, January 2 on Peacock and make its UK debut on the same day on Sky Atlantic & NOW.

Gregson-Williams also continues to co-score HBO’s The Gilded Age, which will return for a third season next year.
