Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Batman: Caped Crusader, Star Trek: Picard, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Occupation: Rainfall, Doom: Annihilation, Big Nate) will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Painted. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and will be released digitally this Friday, December 20. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The Painted is written and directed by Sasha Sibley (who also contributed the Ritual Theme to the score) based on her short of the same name and stars Aleksa Palladino, Sean Bridgers, Jadon Cal and Patrice Johnson. The movie revolves around a 1960s suburban family whose summer plans are interrupted when they are called to a deceased relative’s estate, where they begin to unravel the secrets that haunt the premises – strange occurrences, archaic rituals, and the sinister paintings on the walls. The film will be released on Apple TV on December 20 and is also expected to be available on other digital platforms soon.
