Making its linear premiere tonight is the Showtime original series Dexter: Original Sin developed by Clyde Phillips and starring Patrick Gibson, Christian Slater, Molly Brown, Christina Milian, Alex Shimizu, James Martinez, Reno Wilson, as well as Michael C. Hall as the voice of the inner monologue in Dexter Morgan’s head. The show’s original music is composed by Pat Irwin (Nurse Jackie, The Good Cop, Feed the Beast, But I’m a Cheerleader, Bored to Death) who previously scored 2021’s Dexter: New Blood. The prequel the original Dexter series (scored by Daniel Licht) is set in 1991 Miami and follows the title character as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. The show premiered this past Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.
Premiering on Wednesday, December 18, is the Apple TV+ original documentary series The Secret Lives of Animals produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit, executive produced by Roger Webb and narrated by Hugh Bonneville. Kyle Rodriguez (Jane, The Family Stallone) has composed the show’s original music. The 10-parter highlights 77 unique species in 24 countries over three years, revealing never-before-seen animal behaviors and highlighting the intelligence of the natural world. The series will be available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+.
