Läsk has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish biographical sports drama The Swedish Torpedo (Den svenska torpeden). The album features the film’s original music composed by Martin Dirkov (The Apprentice, Holy Spider, The Quiet Ones, Border, Shorta, Knocking, Holiday). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Red Fish) below. The Swedish Torpedo is co-written and directed by Frida Kempff and stars Josefin Neldén, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, Arthur Sörbring, Gunnel Fred and Lisa Carlehed. The movie tells the true story of Sally Bauer, a Swedish mother who pursues her dream of swimming the English Channel before World War II envelops Europe. The drama premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and was released in Swedish theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic release.
