The details of the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1974 horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre have been revealed. The album, which is being released to coincide with movie’s 50th anniversary, features the film’s original score composed and performed by director Tobe Hooper and Wayne Bell (Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, Eaten Alive). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 11 by Waxwork Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. A vinyl, CD and and cassette edition is expected to be available to order on the label’s website soon A first track has already been released as a digital single last month. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre co-written and directed by Hooper and starring Marilyn Burns, Paul A. Partain, Jim Siedow, Edwin Neal & Gunnar Hansen is now available on VOD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
