Ace Vaptsarov (The Erl-King, Yellow Oleander) has released a soundtrack album for the documentary The Lost Weekend: A Love Story. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is being released in two different volumes (Underscore & Rock ‘n’ Roll) on all major digital music platforms. Also listen to Vaptsarov’s main title track after the jump. The Lost Weekend: A Love Story is directed by Eve Brandstein, Richard Kaufman & Stuart Samuels and explores John Lennon’s 18-month romantic relationship with his young assistant May Pang – a relationship orchestrated by his wife Yoko Ono. The documentary premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival and was released on VOD & Blu-ray last fall by Briarcliff Entertainment following a one-night-only theatrical engagement earlier in 2023.
