Verve Records will release a soundtrack album for Paul Schrader’s drama Oh, Canada. The album features the film’s original score and songs composed by Phosphorescent (aka Matthew Houck) who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 6. Check back on this page within the next day. Oh, Canada is written and directed by Schrader and stars Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, Jacob Elordi, Victoria Hill and Michael Imperioli. The movie revolves around a famed Canadian documentary filmmaker who gives a final interview to one of his former students to tell the whole truth about his life. The drama premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by Kino Lorber.
