La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1974 James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun directed by Guy Hamilton and starring Roger Moore, Christopher Lee and Britt Ekland. The 50th Anniversary Edition album features the remastered and expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Barry (Dances with Wolves, Somewhere in Time, Out of Africa, Goldfinger, Octopussy, Body Heat), including previously unreleased music. Also included is the title song written by the composer, featuring lyrics by Don Black and performed by Lulu, a demo version of the song, as well as source music recorded for the film. The 2-CD set, which is limited to 5,000 copies, is now available to order in the 007 Store and the label’s official website, where you can also learn more about the release and listen to audio samples. The Man with the Golden Gun is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
