Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (Living, All of Us Strangers, The Strays, The Forgotten Battle, Censor) has recently scored the new Showtime original series The Agency. The show is developed by Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth (Edge of Tomorrow, Nine Perfect Strangers) based on the hit French drama Le Bureau des Legendes and stars Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, John Magaro, Katherine Waterston, Andrew Brooke, Alex Reznik, Harriet Sansom Harris, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, India Fowler, Reza Brojerdi and Richard Gere. The political thriller follows a covert CIA agent ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station whose career, real identity and mission are pitted against his heart when the love he left behind reappears. Jez & John-Henry Butterworth and Fassbender are also executive producing the project with MTV Entertainment Studios’ Keith Cox (Lioness, The Exes) and Nina L. Diaz, 101 Studios’ David C. Glasser (Marco Polo, Waco), Ron Burkle (1883, George & Tammy), David Hutkin (Tulsa King, 1923) & Bob Yari (Crash, The Illusionist), Smokehouse Pictures’ George Clooney & Grant Heslov (Argo, Good Night, and Good Luck); TOP’s Alex Berger (TOP – The Originals Productions) and Federation Studios’ Ashley Stern (Bad Genius) and Pascal Breton (Around the World in 80 Days). Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice) directed and serves as an executive producer on the the first two episodes. The Agency will premiere this Friday, November 29 for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® plan before making its on-air debut on Sunday, December 1.
Levienaise-Farrouch’s other recent projects include Fleur Fortuné’s The Assessment, which premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and has been picked up by Prime Video for a release in most international markets next year.
