The details of the first soundtrack album for the HBO original series Dune: Prophecy have been revealed. The album features selections of the first episodes of the show composed by Academy Award winner Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Hotel Mumbai, Lion, Adrift, The Old Guard). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 15 by Milan Records. The label has previously released the composer’s main title track as a digital single last week. Dune: Prophecy is developed by Alison Schapker & Diane Ademu-John inspired by Brian Herbert’s & Kevin J. Anderson’s novel Sisterhood of Dune and stars Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis and Aoife Hinds. The Legendary Television production is set 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides and follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind. The series will premiere this Sunday, November 17 on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.
