ABHL Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary The Remarkable Life of Ibelin. The album features the film’s original music composed by Uno Helmersson (Flee, A Nearly Normal Family, The Painter and the Thief, The Bridge, Bobbi Jene, Magnus, The Lion Woman, The Absent One). The Remarkable Life of Ibelin is directed by Benjamin Ree about the secret life of a young Norwegian World of Warcraft gamer who died of a degenerative muscular disease at the age of 25 and is vividly reimagined when his online friends contact his family after his death. The documentary, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, opened in select theaters last weekend and is premiering today on Netflix.
