RCA Numero Uno has released a soundtrack album for the Italian biographical drama Sicilian Letters (Iddu). The album features the film’s original music composed by Sicilian singer/songwriter Colapesce who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. Sicilian Letters is written and directed by Fabio Grassadonia & Antonio Piazza and stars Elio Germano, Toni Servillo, Daniela Marra, Giuseppe Tantillo, Barbora Bobulova, Fausto Russo Alesi, Tommaso Ragno and Antonia Truppo. The movie centers on Cosa Nostra boss Matteo Messina Denaro (aka “the last godfather”) and focuses on the time period when he was at the peak of his nefarious powers as a fugitive from Italian justice.The drama premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and just opened in Italian theaters last weekend.
