David Wingo (Take Shelter, Mud, Barry, The Report, The Exorcist: Believer, Midnight Special, Kidding, Loving) has composed the original music for the new Peacock original series Teacup. The show is created by Ian McCulloch inspired by the novel Stinger by Robert McCammon and stars Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Chaske Spencer, Boris McGiver, Kathy Baker, Caleb Dolden, Luciano Leroux and Emilie Bierre. The 10-part horror thriller follows a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive. McCulloch & McCommon are also executive producing UCP production with Atomic Monster’s James Wan (The Conjuring, Aquaman), Michael Clear (Malignant, Salem’s Lot) and Rob Hackett (I Know What You Did Last Summer, Aquaman: King of Atlantis) for Atomic Monster, as well as Francisca X. Hu, Kevin Tancharoen (The Brother Sun, Thai Cave Rescue) and. E.L. Katz (Cheap Thrills, Azrael) who also directed the first two episodes. Teacup will premiere this Thursday, October 10 exclusively on Peacock.
