Amazon Content Services has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish biographical drama The Red Virgin (La virgen roja). The album features the film’s original music composed by Juanma Latorre (Teresa) & Guille Galván (The Daughter). The Red Virgin is directed by Paula Ortiz and stars Najwa Nimri, Alba Planas, Aixa Villagrán, Pepe Viyuela and Patrick Criado. The movie tells the story of Hildegart Rodríguez, born in 1914 as a child prodigy and raised by her mother to be a model for future women, who gave conferences on sexuality and feminism from the age of 11 and accompanied H.G. Wells when he made a visit to Spain.. The drama, which premiered at this year’s San Sebastián International Film Festival, opened in Spanish theaters last month and is expected to debut in the U.S. on Prime Video in the coming months.
