Because Music has released a soundtrack album for the action comedy Weekend in Taipei. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matteo Locasciulli (Rumba Therapy, Home Sweet Rome!, ChampagneWe Have a DreamInestimable). Weekend in Taipei is directed by George Huang, produced by Luc Besson  and stars Luke Evans, Gwei Lun Mei, Sung Kang, Wyatt Yang and Pernell Walker. The EuropaCorp production follows a pit-bull DEA agent and a top “Transporter” who – 15 years after they fell in love and were forced to separate – are put on a collision course during a weekend in Taipei. The comedy is opening in French theaters today and will be to be released in U.S. theaters on November 1 by Ketchup Entertainment.
