OONA has released a soundtrack EP for the Danish/Swedish psychological thriller Sons (Vogter). The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Jon Ekstrand (Morbius, Easy Money, Life, Borg vs McEnroe, All the Old Knives, Madame Luna). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s end credits track after the jump. Sons is directed by Gustav Möller and stars Sidse Babett Knudsen, Sebastian Bull, Dar Salim, Olaf Johannessen, Marina Bouras, Jacob Lohmann, Rami Zayat, Siir Tilif and Mathias Petersen. The movie revolves around an idealistic prison guard who faces the dilemma of her lifetime when a young man from her past is transferred to the prison where she works. The thriller premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and just opened in Swedish theaters last weekend. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
