Kevin Matley (Arthur the King, Concrete Cowboy, The Family Plan, Daniel, Path of the Panther) has composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller sequel Den of Thieves 2: Pantera. The film is written and directed by Christian Gudegast (London Has Fallen, A Man Apart) and stars Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. The sequel to 2018’s original film (scored by Cliff Martinez) follows Big Nick who is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie, when he becomes embroiled in the unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange. Butler is also producing the project with Tucker Tooley (We’re the Millers, The United States vs. Billie Holiday), Alan Siegel (Law Abiding Citizen, Plane) and Mark Canton (300, The Spiderwick Chronicles). Den of Thieves 2: Pantera will be released in theaters nationwide on January 10, 2025 by Lionsgate.
