Dana Lund (The Dark Horse, Whina) will release a soundtrack album for the New Zealand/Polish drama The American (aka Joika). The album features the composer’s original score from the film and will be released digitally tomorrow, September 12 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. The American is written and directed by James Napier Robertson and stars Talia Ryder, Diane Kruger, Oleg Ivenko and Natasha Alderslade. The movie follows one of the select few Americans to be admitted into the prestigious, but punishing, Russian Bolshoi Ballet School, where she is tutored by a legendary teacher.
