Joseph Shirley (The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Creed III, Fairfax, Bad Trip, The Underdoggs, The Mysterious Benedict Society) has composed the original score for the upcoming thriller Killer Heat. The film is directed by Philippe Lacôte (Night of the Kings) and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, Richard Madden, Clare Holman, Bobou Ceesay and Abbey Lee. The movie is based on the short story The Jealousy Man by Jo Nesbø and follows an American expat in Greece working as a private eye who gets hired to investigate the supposed accidental death of a young shipping magnate on the island of Crete. Matt Charman (Bridge of Spies, Suite Francaise) and Roberto Bentivegna (House of Gucci) wrote the screenplay. Brad Weston (Queen & Slim, A Thousand and One) is producing the Makeready production. Killer Heat will premiere on September 26, 2024 exclusively on Prime Video.
