La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1985 slasher sequel Friday the 13th Part V – A New Beginning directed by Danny Steinmann and starring Melanie Kinnaman, John Shepherd, Shavar Ross, Marco St. John and Richard Young. The album features the newly restored, remixed, remastered and expanded original score from the fifth installment in the Friday the 13th series composed by Harry Manfredini (Wishmaster, Swamp Thing, House, DeepStar Six), including previously unreleased music. The CD will be available to order on the the label’s official website at noon today. La-La Land has previously released “Ultimate Cut” releases of Manfredini’s score from the original Friday the 13th movie, its first sequel and second sequel. Friday the 13th Part V – A New Beginning is now available on VOD and DVD.
