Milan Records has released two first tracks from the soundtrack for the soundtrack for the animated feature Flow. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services are Abandoned City / Dog Chase written by the film’s director Gints Zilbalodis (Away) and Rihards Zalupe (The Pagan King). Flow co-written and directed by Zilbalodis is set in a world that seems to be coming to an end and follows a cat whose home is devastated by a great flood and finds refuge on a boat populated by various species. The animated fantasy movie, premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, has recently been selected as Latvia’s entry in the International Feature category for next year’s Academy Awards, and has been picked up by Janus Films & Sideshow for a domestic release on November 22, 2024.
