Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological thriller Trap. The album features the film’s original score composed by Herdís Stefánsdóttir (Knock at the Cabin, Y: The Last Man, The Sun Is Also a Star, The Essex Serpent, We’re Here). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 23. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Atlantic Records has previously released an album featuring Saleka’s original songs from the movie earlier this month. Trap is written and directed by Shyamalan and stars Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Hayley Mills, Alison Pill, Tim Russ, Kid Cudi, Vanessa Smythe and Marnie McPhail. The thriller, which follows a father and daughter attending a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a sinister event, was released earlier this month by Warner Bros. Pictures and is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
