Lionsgate Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy The Duel. The album features the film’s original music composed by Carl Thiel (Machete Kills, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Accidental Texan, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Seis Manos, The Teller and the Truth). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 31 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Duel is written and directed by Justin Matthews & Luke Spencer Roberts and stars Dylan Sprouse, Callan McAuliffe, Hart Denton, Denny Love, María Gabriela De Faría, Christian McGaffney, Rachel Matthews, Ronald Guttman and Patrick Warburton. The movie follows a young man who – upon discovering that his best friend has been having an affair with his girlfriend – challenges his closest companion to a classic contest of honor, a gentleman’s duel to the death. The comedy premiered at last year’s Mammoth Film Festival and will be released in theaters as a one-night-only event tomorrow by Lionsgate & Iconic Events.
