Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring the world premiere release of two scores composed by Gerald Fried (Star Trek: The Original Series, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, Roots, Gilligan’s Island). The album includes the composer’s music from the 1979 drama The Bell Jar directed by Larry Peerce and starring Marilyn Hassett, Julie Harris, Anne Jackson, Robert Klein & Barbara Barrie, as well as his score from the 1976 action movie Vigilante Force written and directed by George Armitage and starring Kris Kristofferson and Jan-Michael Vincent. The Gerald Fried – Volume 2 is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. A digital release is expected in the coming weeks. Vigilante Force is now available to stream on ScreenPix and to purchase on Blu-ray and DVD and The Bell Jar has been released on (a currently out-of-print) DVD.
