Saregama India has released the official score album for the Indian sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. The album features the film’s original score composed by Santhosh Narayanan (Bairavaa, Penguin, Gypsy). The label has previously released a separate soundtrack EP featuring the songs from the movie earlier this week. Kalki 2898 AD is co-written and directed by Nag Ashwin and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The movie is set in a dystopian future and tells the story of a powerful warrior ash he navigates a world ravaged by war and environmental destruction and becomes entangled in an ancient prophecy. The film was released last month and is now playing in theaters.
