QUEEBSO will release a soundtrack album for the superhero parody The People’s Joker. The album features selections of the film’s original score composed by Justin Krol & Quinn Scharber. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 26 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The People’s Joker is co-written and directed by Vera Drew who also stars in the film, alongside Lynn Downey, Kane Distler, Nathan Faustyn, Christian Calloway, David Liebe Hart, Griffin Kramer, Tim Heidecker, Phil Braun, Ember Knight and Sarah Sherman. The movie reimagines the origin story of iconic Batman villain The Joker and tells the coming-of-age story of an unconfident, closeted trans girl who moves to Gotham City to make it big as a comedian. The parody, which premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, was released in select theaters this past April by Altered Innocence and will be released on August 13 on Blu-ray and DVD.
