Dense Truth has released a soundtrack album for the British documentary Stephen. The album features the film’s original score written by music producer, DJ and composer Forest Swords (aka Matthew Barnes) (As Dusk Falls). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to Barnes’ main theme after the jump. Stephen is directed by visual artist Melanie Manchot who works with a recovery group in Liverpool who takes up roles in a semi-fictional film-within-a-film that explores addiction and mental health from multiple perspectives. The movie centers on Stephen, a character recovering from gambling and alcohol addictions. The documentary premiered at last year’s Sheffield Doc Fest and was released in select UK theaters this past April.
