Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the historical drama Firebrand. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Leave No TraceThe Lost DaughterLockeOut of the Furnace, Daddio, Last Chance Harvey). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also check out the composer’s title track after the jump. Firebrand is directed by Karim Aïnouz and stars Alicia Vikander, Jude Law, Sam Riley, Erin Doherty, Eddie Marsan, Junia Rees, Patsy Ferran, Ruby Bentall, Maia Jemmett and Bryony Hannah. The movie explores how Katherine Parr navigates a perilous marriage to the volatile Henry VIII in Tudor England, where court intrigue and the king’s paranoia threaten her survival. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, was released in select theaters last month by Roadside Attraction & Vertical and is now also available on VOD.
