A24 Music will release the official soundtrack album for Ti West’s slasher movie MaXXXine. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Watchmen, Deadpool 2, 300, John Wick, Atomic Blonde, The Punisher, Hobbs & Shaw, Dawn of the Dead) who previously co-scored the first two installments in the X trilogy (X with Chelsea Wolfe and Pearl with Timothy Williams). MaXXXine is written and directed by West and stars Mia Goth, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Bobby Cannavale, Michelle Monaghan, Giancarlo Esposito, Halsey, Lily Collins and Kevin Bacon. The movie is set in 1980s Hollywood and follows adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx as she finally gets her big break, while a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood. The final installment in the X trilogy will be released in theaters nationwide on July 5 by A24.
