Pterodactyl Scene has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Made in Ethiopia. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ali Helnwein (Stray, Darlin’, This Much We Know, No Way to Live, Hospitality, Brut Force). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s main theme below. Made in Ethiopia is directed by Max Duncan & Xinyan Yu and centers on three women in search of prosperity who have their faith in industrialization tested to the limit when a massive Chinese factory complex attempts a high-stakes expansion in rural Ethiopia. The documentary just premiered earlier this month at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
