Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack for the 1991 action drama Backdraft directed by Ron Howard and starring Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, Scott Glenn, Rebecca De Mornay, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Donald Sutherland and Robert De Niro. The 2-CD set features the film’s expanded original muisc composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (Dune, The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception, The Last Samurai, Rain Man, Man of Steel, Interstellar), including the world premiere release of the complete score on the first disc and the score selections from the original 1991 soundtrack album (released by Milan Records) on the second disc. The soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find more about the release. Backdraft is now available on VOD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
