Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Kominsky Method, White House Plumbers, Young Sheldon, CSI :Miami, Heels, Just Friends) has recently been recording his score for the upcoming Prime Video original series Cruel Intentions. The show is inspired by the 1999 feature of the same title (scored by Edward Shearmur) and stars Sarah Catherine Hook, Zac Burgess, Savannah Lee Smith, John Harlan Kim, Sara Silva, Khobe Clarke, Brooke Lena Johnson and Sean Patrick Thomas. The drama takes place at an elite Washington, D.C., college and follows two ruthless step-siblings who will do anything to stay on top of the cutthroat social hierarchy. Sara Goodman (I Know What You Did Last Summer, Preacher) and Phoebe Fisher (Down Low) are the project’s lead writers and are also executive producing the production with Original Film’s Neal H. Moritz (Fast & Furious series, Sonic the Hedgehog) and Pavun Shetty (The Boys, Gen V), as well as Roger Kumble who directed the 1999 movie. No premiere date has been announced yet for Cruel Intentions.
Cardoni also continues to score CBS’ Ghosts, which will return for its fourth season this fall.
