La Cupula Music has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish psychological thriller The Sleeping Woman (La mujer dormida). The album features the film’s original score composed by Alfred Tapscott (The Barcelona Vampiress, You Keep the Kids, Superagente Makey, The Wedding Unplanner). The Sleeping Woman is directed by Laura Alvea and stars Almudena Amor and Javier Rey. The movie revolves around a nursing assistant who starts to feel attracted to the husband of the woman in a coma whom she’s caring for, when she begins to be harassed by strange, paranormal phenomena. The thriller premiered at this year’s Málaga Film Festival and just opened in Spanish theaters this past weekend.
