Chris Bezold (Repeater, Larceny, As Good as Dead, Hustle Down) will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Day Labor. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and will be released digitally this Friday, May 3 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Day Labor is directed by R. Ellis Frazier and stars Amy Johnston, Danny Arroyo, Corin Nemec, Louis Mandylor, Gary Cairns, Chris Ashworth and Kevin Gage. The movie revolves around a Latino American veteran day laborer who finds himself caught in a battle for survival after he is mistakenly dropped off at a private ranch in Texas to be hunted for sport. The thriller will released on VOD on May 3 by Freestyle Digital Media.

When discussing his work on the film Bezold says, “The Day Labor music is a highly thematic driven score. On every new project, I try to incorporate and introduce a new element I haven’t used before. For Day Labor, the score features an old friend of mine playing bass guitar. The bass introduces both elements of tension and action, as well as captures the drama of the more emotional moments.”
