Shaftesbury Music has released a soundtrack album for the musical episode of the CBC original drama Murdoch Mysteries. The album features the original songs from the Season 17 episode Why Is Everybody Singing? written by Paul Aitken, produced and arranged by Jono Grant and performed by the series’ cast members including Yannick Bisson, Hélène Joy, Thomas Craig, Arwen Humphreys , Colin Mochrie & others. Also included is the episode’s score written by the show’s composer Robert Carli (Wynonna Earp, Survival of the Dead, Sky Med). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Carney, Cal Coons & Alexandra Zarowny based on characters from Maureen Jennings’ novels. The final episode of Season 17 is premiering in Canada tonight on CBS and the latest season, which includes the musical episode, recently made its U.S. debut on Ovation.
