The full details of the soundtrack album for the monster movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa, Deadpool, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Sonic the Hedgehog, Alita: Battle Angel) and Antonio Di Iorio. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the composers’ main title theme as a digital single last week. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is directed by Adam Wingard and stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns and Fala Chen. The Legendary Pictures production takes place after the showdown of 2020’s Holkenborg-scored Godzilla vs. Kong as the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla face a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world. The film will be released in theaters nationwide next Friday, March 29 by Legendary Pictures.
